Of moods, accidents and lemonade…

Thursday, July 28th, 2005

It’s been a few weeks since my last entry, ever since I had my accident 3 Saturdays ago I thought of putting up something about it, but I didn’t have the mood for it.

Nobody wants to be involved in accident, but for me I was not even prepared to be in an accident. I was driving back from Kuala Lumpur and wanting to send my friend to his house. It has just stopped raining and I entered the Middle Ring Road 2 from Ampang Point. As usual in front of the low cost flats, the road was submerged. It happens every time there is a bit of heavy rain.

There was two cars slowly making its way in the middle lane. When I entered the water, it was quite deep. While trying to get to the right lane to pass the two cars, I felt that the water the water would be too deep to manoeuvre the car.

To make a long story short. I crashed into a car stuck in the flood.

I didn’t have my insurance details or their contact number, so I was at the mercy of the tow-truck gang. Might have gotten a better deal from my insurance company the tow-truck patrols.

So my advice is be prepared…

Am not a boy scout.

Cool Quotes…

Saturday, July 2nd, 2005

It’s half past three on a Sunday morning and I am still awake in front of a computer. It started normally enough, while browsing earlier, I came across a quote I recently heard, but could not for the life of me remember where it was from. I quickly did a Google search. One of the links lead me to the Cool Quotes Collection site, and I am still reading it. Most of the quotes there you would have heard before, but there is always more for you to read. The quotes are put into a few categories for easy reference. The search engine is also helpful.

Some of my favourite quotes from the site are:

A home without books is a body without soul.
Marcus Tullius Cicero

Stupidity is not knowing how dumb you are

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.
Oscar Wilde

Bachelors know more about women than married men. If they didn’t, they would be married too.
H. L. Mencken

"When in a room only lit by a candle and the wind blows, you can either enjoy the breeze or loath the darkness."
Rizwan Haroon

If you need a quote or would want to pass a bit of time, I would reccommend you to visit the site.

Sorry for any misspelling or if I don’t make sense, it is nearly 4 am.

You can quote me on that.
