Of rushing back home and early morning football…
Well, it’s that time of the year again. The new season of American Idol just started and the Champions League has started their knockout stage.
I would like to confess, I’m an American Idol freak. Yes, yes since Rueben and Clay in season 2 have sung their way into sms votes, I’ve been following the show. However the singer I root for in the final always seem not to win for all the finals I saw.
As for the current season I’m rooting for Taylor Hicks and Becky O’Donahue. If you don’t already know Taylor Hicks is the grey haired guy in the vein of Malcolm Macdonald and Joe Cocker. Although I do not know how far he can get in the savage popularity contest of American Idol sms voting.

As for Becky O’Donahue, well, she’s just an image of my dream girl. 5′ 10", grey or is it blue green eyes, able to sing and has a twin sister. Only in my dreams. I have also been sleeping early due to the Champions League knock-out stage. The matches are salivating at worst. Although sleep do get the better of me. However I managed to see a 6′ 3" Brazilian score against Liverpool (dammit) and Barcelona running riot over 10 men Chelsea.
Okay, it’s nearly 5.30 p.m. and I need to get ready to go back to avoid the Friday traffic snarl and hopefully catch the American Idol results show.
