Of getting older and less wiser…
Yo.. ho.. ho.. and a bottle of soya bean milk… Thank you to all those who wished me on my 34th birthday today. Another year older but none the wiser. I think I was wiser when I was younger, in my old age I think I am only obstinately pragmatic.
So you might be wondering what I did on my birthday. Well, I am still not sure what time I will finish work, and they will be closing roads all over Kuala Lumpur tonight, so no plans for the evening. So during lunch time, I went to Alamanda, to buy myself a walkman. You might ask why I am buying a walkman, when i-Pods and MP3 players are all the rage? Well, I need it for my rapporteuring work and also I have a large collection of cassette tapes. So I’m considering to transfer my cassettes into MP3s. It would take some time but would be a worthwile project. Although I don’t know how good the transfer would be.
And I have been listening to my MP3s on my PC through the earphones that came with the Panasonic RQ-CR18V Stereo Radio Cassette Player that I bought. It sounds way better than the Creative PC speakers. Never realised how crappy sounding the speakers were. Well, what do you expect from a workstation PC.
Well, anyway that’s about it for now. Just wanted to have an entry to mark my birthday.
