Cum cum Disease Afflicts Growing numbers of Japanese women

December 2nd, 2006 by foolkiller

No I did not believe it when I first read it. But after some thinking… could the disease be bottled, made into a pill? It’s not for me, it’s for a friend.

Addendum:

A patient with spontaneous orgasms was featured on an episode of Grey’s Anotomy second season titled "Yesterday". It was aired in Malaysia on 23 January 2007 on NTV7.

Of Tenpei Asuka and the Burokkaa Gundan 4 Mashin Burasutar

November 27th, 2006 by foolkiller

Machine_blaster_digital640480Once upon a time, when I was small (yes, I was small once) and watching cartoons on RTM (I still watch cartoons now but mostly on DVDs), there was an anime that still define my childhood and I guess most Malaysian males around my age group. A special time after school will be reserved to watch Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster (Burokkaa Gundan 4 Mashin Burasutar) and its main hero Tenpei Asuka (or generally misprounounced as Tempe Asuka).

Ask any 30something Malaysian male about Machine Blaster and Tenpei Asuka and you will with certainty see their eyes glaze over and a smile form on their lips while they reach back to their childhood and remember images of vehicles combining into a robot and Tenpei Asuka’s origami aircraft made with excercise book paper.

For those who need help to reminisce those carefree younger days here’s a few place to start.

Of rules to follow, not feeling well and writer’s block…

November 23rd, 2006 by foolkiller

5 RULES
I received these rules in one of my various mailing list. I thought you all might find it useful.
———————————————-
5 Rules for Men to Follow to Have a Happy Life
———————————————-

1. It is important to have a woman who helps
at home, cooks from time to time, cleans and
has a job.

2. It is important to have a woman who can
make you laugh.

3. It is important to have a woman whom you
can trust and who doesn’t lie to you.

4. It is important to have a woman who is
‘talented’ in the bedroom and who really
likes to be with you.

5. It is very, very important that these four
women don’t know each other. :-)

———————————————

Doctor, doctor
Have not been feeling well for the past few days, went to the doctor yesterday for some medicine and an MC. So rested at home the whole day yesterday, except for the few interruptions that I had no mood to deal with.

Today, I’m supposed to be on leave, but am at the office, just untill lunch. Since today’s lunch break is at 1215 pm, I don’t mind that much.

Write, damn you, write
I recently spoke to a friend of mine, who is actively writing and wants to be a published writer. You can read his weblog at http://www.the-kimster.blogspot.com/ , one of his articles was even picked up by The Sun. I was asking him how to get over the block that I have when tring to write my weblogs. When an idea comes to me, I have so much to write, and the idea feels fresh and vital, that is until I sit in front of the frakkin PC and feel that I have nothing to say, what I say is unimportant and better off left dead and buried.

He passed on an advice he also received.  That is just to write.  Just put my thoughts to words, and with practice hopefully it gets better.

So if you find my current meanderings a bit long, please bear with me.

"Number One, Wisma Putra"
Also a brief advertisement, for the book "Number One, Wisma Putra". I was not able to attend the launch but managed to purchase the book at the Wisma Putra Aidilfitri Open House the same evening and also managed to have the Foreign Minister sign the book for me. I have not had the chance to finish the book yet, maybe I’ll read most of it over the coming weekend. And yes, I do want to be one of the contributers for the next book.

The book, a compilation of 31 short stories by both former and current Malaysian ambassadors, was published by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this year.

Written in a light manner, it gives the public an idea of what the diplomatic life is all about.

Of PUAs, AFCs and being cocky and funny…

November 10th, 2006 by foolkiller

Here’s a genuine thanks to David DeAngelo, Style, Mystery, Juggler and a few other mPUAs. Although I have no intention to be a PUA, I am glad I am no more an AFC. Although I still have a lot to learn, I have also learnt a lot.

Here’s to cocky and funny, building rapport, cold readings etc.

To guys who have no idea what I am talking about, do yourself a favour and google everything here.

To gals… give me your number and send me your pictures… I’ll tell you after that…

Of getting older and less wiser…

July 20th, 2006 by foolkiller

Yo.. ho.. ho.. and a bottle of soya bean milk… Thank you to all those who wished me on my 34th birthday today. Another year older but none the wiser. I think I was wiser when I was younger, in my old age I think I am only obstinately pragmatic.

So you might be wondering what I did on my birthday. Well, I am still not sure what time I will finish work, and they will be closing roads all over Kuala Lumpur tonight, so no plans for the evening. So during lunch time, I went to Alamanda, to buy myself a walkman. You might ask why I am buying a walkman, when i-Pods and MP3 players are all the rage? Well, I need it for my rapporteuring work and also I have a large collection of cassette tapes. So I’m considering to transfer my cassettes into MP3s. It would take some time but would be a worthwile project. Although I don’t know how good the transfer would be.

And I have been listening to my MP3s on my PC through the earphones that came with the Panasonic RQ-CR18V Stereo Radio Cassette Player that I bought. It sounds way better than the Creative PC speakers. Never realised how crappy sounding the speakers were. Well, what do you expect from  a workstation PC.

Well, anyway that’s about it for now. Just wanted to have an entry to mark my birthday.

Until somebody elses birthday… see you on the spin side!

Of portable laptops and courses near the beach…

June 13th, 2006 by foolkiller

Speechpd03It was off to Port Dickson this recent weekend to attend a speech drafting course  at the Corus "Paradise" Hotel. I just had the chance to spend my previous weekend at home before having to attend the course, and it’s the World Cup opening weekend…  At least the classes ended at 10 p.m. so I managed to catch the Germany vs. Costa Rica match.
Roomwifview_edited
However the classes took up most of my time in PD, I didn’t even get the chance to go swimming or to go to the beach… I only had a chance to see it from the hotel. Sad… sad…

Ball_editedI have to say, though, the course was useful. I always had a phobia when it came to writing speeches. Now that I have some idea of how to write a speech, I hope writing a speech won’t be much of a bother anymore. I know I would have to come up with a speech soon, maybe I will start early, while the course is still fresh in my memory.

Until then, see you on the spinside.

Of getting it right and flying time…

May 29th, 2006 by foolkiller

Well it finally had to happen, the American Idol contestant I liked won the show. As I said before all of the AI contestant I liked ended up as runner up. So before the finale I was going around saying I liked Kat McPhee to unjinx my fav Idol. Seems to work thoughh… The spastic, prematurely gray, not thin,
harmonica-playing, non-sequitur-shouting former bar singer won the fifth American Idol.

After being a self confessed American Idol fanatic, it must be curious that I do not like Akedemi Fantasia. As not to offend any AF fans out there, let’s just leave it that I will be enjoying a traffic free and empty Kuala Lumpur Saturdays for the next few months.

Namcob Well, I have been spending most of my days, nights and weekend at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre doing my duty as the technical advisor to the rapporteur team. Man, a lot of sleepless nights. And it is only Tuesday, tomorrow it’s back to the office for work. It has been a long week. Need sleep, need to watch summer movies… sigh!

Hanoi nights…

March 14th, 2006 by foolkiller

Pict0573_edited_1
Well, I went to Hanoi last week to attend the Joint Commission Meeting between Malaysia and Vietnam. Man… there was a lot of sleepless nights doing work. Even when I get to sleep, I dreamt of doing work… didn’t really rest until Friday… tried to have a nap at about 9 p.m. Friday night, after all the meetings was finished, before going out on the town but with even the lights on and the TV blaring, I only woke up at 3 in the morning. Sheesh…

I did get in a bit of souvenier shopping in Hang Gai, but I didn’t get to tour any of Hanoi’s sights except those that I passed by in the car. You can see some pictures of my Hanoi trip at my fotopages, not that many different places in Hanoi but at least more than the pictures I managed to take when I was on holiday in Jakarta.

The traffic situation in Hanoi is best described as my boss said it "systematic chaos". The vehicles move at a constant average speed 40-60km/h however they rarely stop. Makes crossing the road an adrenaline rush in itself. However, there is a street in Hang Gai, where there is no traffic lights and just a zebra crossing but the vehicles will stop, I have no idea why. If anybody knows, please enlighten me.

It is also surprising how small the Vietnamese are, somebody mentioned the tunnels used in the Vietnamese wars was made for even smaller people, so they might have increased in size after a few decades. Well, they kicked the US ass, so they’re big in my book.

My cousin mentioned that somebody said that Hanoi was a romantic city, I asked her whether the guy was drunk. It was a nice enough place to visit, but romantic???

Although being cooped up in the secretariat doing work and not having a chance to really see Hanoi might have biased my opinion about Hanoi being a romantic city.

So tell me what you think… until then… see you on the spin side!

Of rushing back home and early morning football…

February 24th, 2006 by foolkiller

Well, it’s that time of the year again. The new season of American Idol just started and the Champions League has started their knockout stage.

I would like to confess, I’m an American Idol freak. Yes, yes since Rueben and Clay in season 2 have sung their way into sms votes, I’ve been following the show. However the singer I root for in the final always seem not to win for all the finals I saw.

As for the current season I’m rooting for Taylor Hicks and Becky O’Donahue. If you don’t already know Taylor Hicks is the grey haired guy in the vein of Malcolm Macdonald and Joe Cocker. You can download three of his songs from http://wbhm.org/Tapestry/bands/TaylorHicks.html and find out what everyone is talking about. He has talent for sure. Although I do not know how far he can get in the savage popularity contest of American Idol sms voting.

You can also check out his Vegas audition video here: Taylor Hicks Audition Video

As for Becky O’Donahue, well, she’s just an image of my dream girl. 5′ 10", grey or is it blue green eyes, able to sing and has a twin sister. Only in my dreams. Anyway the O’Donahue twins did a Maxim shoot previously and you can take a look here http://www.maximonline.com/todays_girl/index.aspx?id=1887 and drool.

I have also been sleeping early due to the Champions League knock-out stage. The matches are salivating at worst. Although sleep do get the better of me. However I managed to see a 6′ 3" Brazilian score against Liverpool (dammit) and Barcelona running riot over 10 men Chelsea.

Okay, it’s nearly 5.30 p.m. and I need to get ready to go back to avoid the Friday traffic snarl and hopefully catch the American Idol results show.

Until next time, see you on the spin side…

Of attending courses and being away from the office…

January 15th, 2006 by foolkiller

I am away from the office this week. Am attending a course at IDFR for the week. Think I’m going to gain about a minimum of two kilos this week. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided. Maybe I should start jogging or something. Like that would happen.

The course I’m attending will hopefully help me when I sit for my IELTS. I’m not about to waste RM500 and not score on my IELTS. The last time I sat for my IELTS it was paid for and I had English classes everyday. I hope to beat my last score of band 7.0 although a same score would be good enough.
